my new t-shirt

I was walking on the treadmill today, bored out of my wit, flipping channels just to take my mind off the blah, and I saw this lady on Martha transforming a t-shirt. It was so easy to do, so I have to try. I used one of my hubby's old t-shirt.

Here's what I did:
1. Cut off sleeves and the bottom. Save the bottom fabric.
2. Cut 3-6 inches off each side, depends on how loose you want the t-shirt to be.
3. Use a scissor to poke small holes down the side of the shirt, about an inch apart. Make sure you poke through both layers. Repeat on the other side.
4. To make the laces, take the bottom fabric from step 1, cut two 1-inch wide strips.
5. Start lacing at the underarm. Tie ends in a bow. Repeat on the other side.
