why oh why?

Why is that my hubby only snores when I am trying to sleep? And he stops when I am out of bed?
And why is that it only happens on weekdays that I have to go to work, but not on weekends?

His snoring woke me up Friday morning around 2:30am. I tried getting back to sleep, but everytime I got into bed, he started snoring. I got out, he stopped. WTF??? I was like a zombie at work. I think it's a ploy to get the whole bed to himself.

my new t-shirt

I was walking on the treadmill today, bored out of my wit, flipping channels just to take my mind off the blah, and I saw this lady on Martha transforming a t-shirt. It was so easy to do, so I have to try. I used one of my hubby's old t-shirt.

Here's what I did:
1. Cut off sleeves and the bottom. Save the bottom fabric.
2. Cut 3-6 inches off each side, depends on how loose you want the t-shirt to be.
3. Use a scissor to poke small holes down the side of the shirt, about an inch apart. Make sure you poke through both layers. Repeat on the other side.
4. To make the laces, take the bottom fabric from step 1, cut two 1-inch wide strips.
5. Start lacing at the underarm. Tie ends in a bow. Repeat on the other side.

our wisteria

Our wisteria is doing so well this year. No leaves just flowers. Not sure if it's the result of our aggressive pruning last fall. We saw another wisteria in the neighborhood that didn't look as lively.

Our backyard this year is a sea of purple. The Chocolate Chips (ground cover) also has purple flowers, and they are growing quite well. I hope they won't turn out to be like the Lamb's Ears that we had. Not sure why, but our Lamb's Ears grew so big and tall, it's a Lamb's Ear jungle. We finally had to pull all the Lamb's Ears out cause it's so messy. No Lamb's Ears ever for my backyard!!!
