people never failed to amaze me

We had a very interesting staff meeting this afternoon. Cannot believe some of the things that I heard. These people don't even understand the fundamental difference between unit, functional and integration testing. Here are some of the bizarre things that I heard today:
1. they expect the Business Analysts to understand and have a working knowledge on other systems that we interface with.
2. they expect to have a ready environment from the systems that we interface with to test starting unit testing.
3. they expect to have production access to our own system
4. they expect to have production access to the other systems that we interface with

Mind you, these are very senior staff. I truly am amazed at how these people get hired. I blamed that on old management. One word: Unbelivable!!!
