Didn't really want to go in the beginning cause we were really really tired, but we forced ourselves. I am glad we did. It's sort of fun.

Gay Pride Parade is really popular. Even the politicians will show up at the parade.











I have pictures of guys baring it all at the parade. It was actully quite funny. Remind of the movie Porky's.

i am going to nyc

Finally decided on going to New York City this summer. Originally, we wanted to go to Arizona, but it's too expensive considering we wanted to visit Beijing next year. Beijing is on the radar as long as I am still getting my bonus this year (it's looking grime at the moment, but that's another story).

We have both been to New York, but it's only for 2-3 days in a stretch. We have decided to take the train. Flying costs way more, but the train is way slower. Anyhow, the train ride is also an experience on its own though I have done it.

We have a spreadsheet that list out all the places/attractions we want to see, and the list is growing. Some must:

1. Yankees vs Red Sox - even as a non baseball fan, I am interested in this old rivalry. Since they are also building the new stadium, will definitely have to visit this history making stadium. The tickets costed a small fortune, had to get it from eBay since it's all sold out.

2. Brooklyn Bridge - plan is to walk the bridge and take some pics

3. Empire State - been there but still...

4. Ground Zero

5. Foods of New York Tours http://www.foodsofny.com/

Bought this last week. Isn't this cute? It's from Privo by Clarks. It's comfortable too. The real test though will be walking around with it for a whole day and we shall see.
